Case Study: Bringing the NFL Experience to Fans in Berlin

“Falcons House” - A Media-Day Photo Activation

When the Atlanta Falcons came to Germany for their 2025 NFL International Game, they brought more than just football, they brought their fans. As part of their European fan experience, the team around Sportfive opened the Falcons House in Berlin at Fotografiska, a creative hub that became a meeting place for fans from all over the world on the day before the big game.

I was brought on board as Creative Producer to concept, design, and execute a photo activation that captured the spirit of the Falcons and gave fans something tangible to take home and share.

Concept: A Memory to Take Home

The goal was simple: fan engagement and brand exposure through an immersive and high-quality experience. Together with the Falcons’ European team Sportfive and sponsor Airbnb, we created a professional photo booth experience inspired by the NFL Media Days.

Fans were invited to step into the spotlight:

  • Show off their Falcons gear and props

  • Strike a pose in front of a stylized setup

  • Get their photo taken by professional photographer Aileen Uzoma

  • Receive their finished shot instantly by email and as a custom printed “Falcons Trading Card” to take home for free.

Execution: Turning a Concept Into an Experience

I handled the full creative and technical production, including:

  • Concept development and workflow design

  • Technical setup with professional camera, tethered shooting, and lighting

  • Live image processing workflow using Lightroom, Photoshop, and Keyboard Maestro for automatic export and email delivery

  • Custom trading card template and instant printing via Canon SELPHY 1500

On-site coordination and experience flow was handled by talented photographer Aileen Uzoma. The activation combined high-end photography with real-time automation, keeping fans engaged while ensuring a fast and smooth process even with lines stretching across the venue.

Results: Hundreds of Fans, Thousands of Smiles

The “Falcons House” photo booth quickly became one of the most popular attractions of the event.

  • Over 600 fans participated throughout the day

  • Guests received professional digital and printed photos instantly

  • The Falcons and Airbnb shared and celebrated activation content across their social channels

  • The high-quality visuals added real value for the brand and its partners

This was my second large-scale sports fan activation using this concept with the first being at FIBO, Europe’s largest fitness convention, where I implemented the same professional photo station for the European League of Football and KFC. There too, over 400 fans participated, experiencing what it feels like to be a player on media day.

Both activations proved that a simple, well-produced concept can create powerful engagement combining technology, creativity, and emotion in a way that brands and fans both remember.

Reflection

As a Creative Producer, I specialize in designing and delivering experiences that connect brands with their audiences in authentic, shareable ways. Whether it’s for a sports franchise, consumer brand, or live event, I focus on creating touchpoints that feel premium, personal, and memorable.

The Falcons House activation was a perfect example: a blend of storytelling, smart technology, and brand partnership that turned fans into part of the game.
